ADDITIVE GmbH is a modern system vendor offering products
and services for technical and scientific applications. Currently
employing about 65 highly-qualified personnel organized in
four business units, it is already one of its industry's biggest
engineering service firms.
ADDITIVE was founded in 1989 and is headquartered in Friedrichsdorf
/ Ts near Frankfurt am Main.
ADDITIVE's core strengths are in the fields of physical measurement
technology, software for mathematics and statistics, software
for statistical quality management and software for Chemistry
and Life Science.
ADDITIVE resells standard products from leading manufacturers
and complements these offerings with extensive engineering
services. These include consulting and system sales with pre-
and after-sales service, as well as customer- and application-specific
expansions, system integration, commissioning, training and
much more.
ADDITIVE is organized in four business units.
Its core business and main revenue source are provided by
the Measurement Technology (MT) and Software
departments.
These are complement with the services branch "IT-Service
and the training and seminar department "ADDITIVE-ACADEMY.
ADDITIVE takes aim at different, strictly defined market
segments.
The key to stability and continuing growth is to serve different
and yet technical related markets. This enables business to
prosper even during periods of weak economic climate.
ADDITIVE's customers mainly represent the industrial and
academic sectors.
The focus of the department Software is R&D
for the industrial and scientific sectors. The main customers
are universities, public and private research institutions
as well as the technical industrial sector.
In close cooperation with its strategic partner imc Messsysteme
GmbH Berlin, the MT department concentrates on industrial
applications of measurement engineering, primarily in R&D
for testing and for process and plant monitoring. Here, the
main customers are the vehicle manufacturing industry and
its suppliers, general mechanical engineering, and power facilities.
Embedded in a network of employees, customers and suppliers,
ADDITIVE always seeks long-term relationships. Competence,
quality and customer orientation are in the forefront of this
effort.
This is what's at the heart of ADDITIVE's innovative drive,
as well as of its interest in and capability of finding the
technically and economically optimum solution for every task.
ADDITIVE draws on the talents of a highly-motivated, interdisciplinary
team, most having academic training. Its people value the
variety and technical challenges of their tasks as well as
the spirit of cooperation and trust we cultivate with our
customers, suppliers and among colleagues.
ADDITIVE is conscious of a social responsibility it bears,
specifically with regard to nurturing new generations of qualified
labor. It provides training to a good number of apprentices
in new professions such as computer specialists. ADDITIVE
maintains close ties to its region's scientific technical
universities and the universities of applied sciences. And
it primarily attracts new employees originally as students
doing internships or working on their degree thesis under
the guidance of our employees.
ADDITIVE has achieved consistent growth even during weak
economic period, particularly in the years 2001 to 2003, but
indeed in all preceding years as well. Its equity capital
and reinvestment rate are both above average.
The main reasons for this continual healthy development are
stability and innovation. These are based on the concentration
upon selected application fields in which we enjoy the opinion
leadership, on our employees strong motivation and on stable,
long-term customer relationships.
Parallel to that, the company is branching out into other
German-speaking countries and since 2002 also into the USA
with shares in its international distributors.
